Monday, December 17th, 2007First semester of college: check.
With finals week done, I have officially finished off my first semester of college. I must say, it was everything I imagined it would be, yet completely different. I absolutely love the freedom it affords and I even liked my classes for the most part, but I was completely unprepared for the actual academic part in all honesty. I assumed I would be able to float through just like I did in high school, but it wasn’t really the case. I mean, to an extent I was able to, but that gets me Cs, where as in high school it would get me As and Bs. I can’t get Cs and expect to keep Hope. Luckily, I believe I managed to get out of my first semester with only one C and hopefully Bs and an A. Certainly not what I was hoping for, but it will have to do. (more…)
